Infante do Mar Inn is located between Lagos and Sagres at the western end of the Algarve coastline.

Sagres is where Prince Henry the Navigator.had his navigation school which made possible the long voyages of the Portuguese Discoverers.  Thse sailors went in their small 'caravelas' to North and South America, around the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa and on to India China and the far east.

This small hotel overlooks Salema, a fishing village on the west Algarve which has retained all its original old-world charm and atmosphere. It is also has one of the most beautiful bays on the south coast of Portugal which has not yet been spoilt by modern development.

Lagos, the capital of the Algarve from 1576 to 1765, is a short drive away. The city's walls are the largest and best-preserved in the Algarve.

The Inn is set on a hilltop, from where there are uninterrupted views to the sea. It has a total of 30 bedrooms all equipped with modern facilities and private terrace with sea view.

The Inn features a restaurant specialized in typical portuguese cuisine, and a bar.

The outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace are set in the private gardens, overlooking the ocean. There is a wide sandy beach within a few minutes walking distance of the Inn.
